PACIA, as it is commonly known, is an organization of professional investigators established in 1986 to foster education and cooperation between the public and private sector in the investigation of auto related crimes including auto theft and insurance fraud.
The membership of the association is comprised of law enforcement and insurance investigators who are actively involved in the investigation of auto theft and related crimes. The association is incorporated as a non-profit organization in Pennsylvania.


PACIA meets every month except in July & August on the second Thursday of the month at the Philadelphia Police Department, 8th Police District at Red Lion & Academy Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114 at 10:00am.

If you would wish to attend the meeting as a guest you may do so by contacting any member of the association or by calling any member of the board of directors. Only invited guests are permitted to attend meetings.

Membership in the organization is made by the recommendation of one of the membership and approval of the board of directors.

PACIA  also conducts  training seminars in the area of auto theft and vehicle fraud topics for the Delaware Valley law enforcement community. The announcement of these seminars will be posted on this web site.
